Let ATCC help you with long-term storage of cultures. Just add actively growing cells to the freeze medium, mix well and store at -80ºC. To start a new culture, thaw the suspension and inoculate fresh culture medium.

Each freeze medium is packaged in 12 single-use units. The vial label is specially designed with space for writing the strain information.

LB with 30% glycerol
Luria-Bertani broth (Miller formulation) with glycerol is used for cryopreservation of bacteria transformed with plasmids. Package of 12 x 0.5 ml.
