National Cancer Institute (NCI)

ATCC holds a contract with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Divisions of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics to acquire and authenticate cancer cell lines and genetic material to help researchers monitor genetic changes in response to environmental factors. The program is entitled "Procurement of DNA, RNA and Transformed Lymphocytes, Lymphoblastoid Lines for Genetic Linkage Studies." ATCC has been contracted by NCI to provide this service since 1998.
